Laser Engraver Enclosure Exhaust Port
thingiverse
Bought a Sculpfun tent enclosure for my new laser engraver. Intent was to pair it with my Comgrow smoke purifier. You know, because my lungs and stuff..... The purifier comes with a few hoses. One of them is the flexible aluminim expandable type at 80mm (they also include a 100mm one, and a 50mm semi rigid ball joint type). The port that comes on the enlcosure is slightly bigger than 80mm (85 or thereabouts I think). And I couldn't get the 80mm hose on it, nor would the included adaptors fit. I wanted a more permanent solution, and one that was sealed properly, rather than having the included 50mm semi rigid pipe filling 'most' of the hole. Used the original included screws to screw the two parts together. (I have just realised while thinking about it, that the flat piece is supposed to be on the outside. I have put them the wrong way around. Meh, still works) Could probably use it on many applications.... get creative.
