I built a compact speaker system consisting of a pair of speakers and a tiny amplifier. The speakers measure 70x70x70mm, while the amplifier is slightly smaller at 55x50x30mm. The speaker was crafted using a 2-inch driver unit, with rounded corners on all four sides. To achieve this shape, I bent the wood into the desired curve. A living-hinge was also added for a sleek finish. The amplifier relies on a pre-made PCB board that boasts a 6W x 2 power output. This board already features a 3.5mm input jack, speaker output, and 5V DC input jack. To complete this setup, I simply built a small case to house the board. This compact speaker system can be powered via USB from any computer, making it an ideal PC speaker solution.
