I designed a top and base box layout. Using SketchUp, I created the drawings and then exported them as a dxf file for laser cutting. To optimize living hinge performance, I've been experimenting with different designs, focusing on line spacing. My goal is to achieve a smooth curve while ensuring the wood remains strong enough not to crack under stress. The pencil box measures 21x6x4.5cm, with a 3mm material thickness.
