Laser Cut Tascam DR-40 Stand

The Tascam DR-40 fits perfectly with XLR eject buttons when using 1/4" to 1/8" adapters from Aurum Cables, available on Amazon in three-packs of 6.35mm male to 3.5mm female stereo adapters. Other brands might work too, but if not, you can always adjust the holes to fit your device. You can also modify this stand by cutting it in acrylic or wood and adding a felt pad to prevent scratching and accommodate the Tascam's slightly uneven base. The photos for this project use three pieces of 5mm plywood and 1mm green felt cut and glued together. Future Design Ideas: I'm looking into getting 1/4" to 1/8" adapters with a 90-degree bend, which would allow me to record while still using external sources. I might also open up a hole for the remote if I decide to buy one in the future.
