Custom Settlers of Catan Board to be Laser Cut! Contains Settlers 3-4 Settlers 5-6 Seafarers 3-4 Seafarers 5-6 Quick Test Etching/Cutting File Overview This is my custom laser cut Settlers of Catan Board. Most of the hexes are remixed from Settlers of Catan Board by shakalandro, Settlers of Catan 6 player interlocking - add your own graphics! by JeffGinger and Lasercut tiles for Settlers of Catan by jmne, however I created my own Ore, Gold, and Ocean Hexes as I was unhappy with the current options. All of my files have been cleaned up so that there are no overlapping lines that may cause issues in laser cutting. Additionally, I have my files in both inkscape SVG (where I created them) and CorelDraw X4 files which is the software I print from. File Organization For each variant of the game, I have both the hexes themselves as well as the borders that go around them. I was unable to fit the entire Seafarers print on my laser so I split it in half; I've included both the full and the split versions. Suggested Settings I use a laser cutter at Maker Works on an Epilog Helix 50W laser. I've loved my results from printing on 5mm Birch Plywood. Most Recently I've gotten good results using these settings: Rastering: 75/95 Vectoring: 12/100/2500 I'd suggest playing around with the settings until you're happy, by using the small test file I included (it takes about 1.5 minutes to print)
