Laser Cut Rubberband Pistol
thingiverse
This rubberband pistol holds 4 rubberbands at most. Check the image for loading instructions. Assembling the pieces should be relatively straightforward, with step-by-step directions included in the CDR and PDF. Make sure all 3 layers are aligned before hammering in the pegs to avoid a hairline crack in the acrylic parts. A suitable rubberband is approximately 5cm in diameter when unstretched. Note the image marked with 4 red circles - Use a metal file to smooth out sharp corners (highlighted areas) to prevent rubberbands from getting caught and moving freely. Important note: This design was not created by me, and I'm unsure who originally designed it. My modifications include adding a middle layer that must be 5mm thick, pegs, and a spring. Warning: If you live in a country where carrying firearms is allowed - PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUILD THIS ACRYLIC GUN TO LOOK LIKE AN ACTUAL FIREARM. Or try to pass it off as a real gun by tucking it into your pants. Your life is more valuable than being reckless.
