Laser Cut Roll Top Box
thingiverse
This innovative design features a round-cornered box with a disappearing top when opened, adding charm to storing your knick-knacks. Cut from 1/8" plywood using a laser cutter (2 sheets for a 12"x24" bed), note that the flex hinges and top may take over an hour to cut on a 25-watt laser. To assemble, start by gluing the inner bottom/back pieces together, followed by the roll top and its tab, and then sliding the outer sides into place. Ensure proper alignment and let the glue dry before using your new box with its unique roll-top feature.
