My Raspberry Pi Case: Acrylic Laser Cut Design Check out this amazing acrylic laser cut design for my Raspberry Pi project. I found it at http://www.led-genial.de/Plexiglas-Gehaeuse-fuer-Raspberry-Pi. This fantastic design allows multiple parts to be used and assembled with ease, ensuring there is no risk of damage. The outstanding advantage of this design is the possibility of using colored plexiglass or acrylic, giving it a personalized touch. However, kits for hobbyists that are designed to be snapped together have strict material restrictions, forcing users to work exclusively with rolled XT. This often leads to issues with high thickness tolerances, particularly when assembling and disassembling frequently. Fortunately, there's a solution: manufacturing the lids using cast GS (GS) while keeping all side parts made of rolled XT (XT). This not only minimizes breakage but also provides a wider range of color options and thickness variations. To simplify assembly, use 20mm spacers with M3 6mm screws. Plus, thanks to the unique design, there's no chance of assembling it incorrectly. Each part has a designated position that ensures accurate orientation, making this case a delight to work on. After finalizing the assembly process, you'll be amazed at how remarkably stable your custom-built yin-yang case becomes, despite its segmented construction. Have fun building your personal masterpiece!
