Laser cut rallye style watch band / strap - leather, fabric....
thingiverse
For my second upload, this is a brand-new design for a laser-cut watch band - rallye style, this time around.\nAs usual, I've used it on leather, but it can also be used on thick fabric with ease.\nUtilizing a laser cutting machine makes it simpler to achieve precise cuts on the sides, holes, and more.\nSome basic knowledge of leatherwork is required to finish the project, but I find that laser cutting greatly simplifies the process and saves quite some time in the long run.\nMaterials:\nThe recommended material is leather 1mm thick or less.\nFaux leather could also work, but considering the low price of a small piece of genuine leather, why not go for the real deal which offers much greater durability?\nInstructions:\nSewing and/or gluing are necessary to complete this project.\nThis watch band consists of two parts - part 1 with the buckle and part 2 with holes for the buckle pin.\nTo assemble it, simply fold each part over itself and sew them together as desired (see photos).\nI'll upload a full tutorial with detailed instructions if needed.
