A custom mounting fixture designed specifically for an unusually large, curvaceous piece of glass that measures 205mm in diameter. Crafted using ultra-thin 3mm sheets of precision-cut laser ply wood which have been carefully assembled and secured together with cyanoacrylate adhesive. Protective face plates cut from black cardboard effectively conceal the joints between the pieces. These surfaces have then been treated to a uniform, glossy black finish achieved through spray painting.
