Laser Cut Paint Caddy

Laser Cut Paint Caddy

thingiverse

I created a custom lasercut paint caddy based on an online design that wasn't available on Thingiverse. My version fits 2oz airbrush paints and is designed for use with 1/8" plywood. Since the back piece was too large for my laser cutter, I split it in two. Using K40 Whisperer allows me to color my paths red, but you should adjust line widths and colors according to your specific laser cutter's needs. This design is still a work in progress. To upgrade my ventilation system, I plan to add an acrylic cover that will be laser cut and bent into shape. However, before doing so, I need to improve my ventilation setup. For now, I've included a two-piece plywood cover with finger joints, but you'll have to figure out the hinges for it. The carrying strap is made from leftover leather that I had on hand. The screw holes are 6mm in diameter and were cut slightly too small for the 1/4" bolts I used, but they still worked out okay. My drawer is a bit undersized because I accidentally took the faces from my original 1/4" design.
