Laser Cut Nema 17 Mount

To save costs, I constructed this because 3D printing the nema mount is nearly 10 times pricier than laser-cutting acrylic. Utilize the provided .dxf file to create four pieces for each mount face and assemble them using interlocking joints and epoxy. The design works best with 7mm acrylic or metal, sourced from Inkscape. For the triangular support, two identical pieces are necessary; they don't require flipping or mirroring. The square border surrounding the motor shaft hole must be etched rather than cut. This design is optimized for 7mm acrylic, but thinner materials work if less weight is involved, while thicker ones may cause gaps in joints but ensure stability. The bottom plate's vertical slots are 4.2mm wide and 30mm long, with a 30mm distance between their centers. Motor mounting holes have a 3mm diameter, and the shaft hole measures 22.5mm. Interlocking joints are 7mm long and 5mm wide.
