Laser Cut MDF Wire harness / adapter

Laser Cut MDF Wire harness / adapter

I'm still fiddling with adapting four wires I've soldered into a homemade power supply, but they won't fit neatly onto the flexible contacts on my LED light strip. Admitting defeat - I'm woefully inept when it comes to soldering. The process is giving me fits and trouble sticking these two together properly. Luckily, I grabbed a laser cutter and etched wire guides directly into a sheet of mdf. These guides cradle the wires perfectly, holding back the insulated portions just so while aligning the conductors beautifully against the contacts on my wiring strip. It's a bit too long to think that this file could possibly benefit anyone, so I'm sharing the idea - hoping that it'll strike inspiration in someone else struggling with wiring woes and tools at hand. Instructions: Cut out of scraps using an 80 watt laser. Etch into mdf with settings adjusted to roughly 50% power for cutting the wire channels just right.
