If you check out my Periodic Table project on Thingiverse, it's packed with details about sizing, SVGs, materials used, and how-tos. Take a look: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3830298. After creating my laser-cut Periodic Table, I wanted to tackle another project that combined math fun. A 10x10 multiplication table seemed like the perfect starting point, but it quickly became clear that only half of the 100 numbers in a standard multiplication table would actually be included. To make matters worse, I'd still need to create extra cubes just to fill out the layout. Instead of going with a smaller table and scattered extras, I decided to design a comprehensive math tool that covered all bases. The result is an interactive display featuring cubes for each number from 1 to 100, complete with their base values, squares, square roots, cubes, cube roots, and factors. Meanwhile, the central table showcases a standard 10x10 multiplication chart, along with examples of multiplying positive and negative numbers, PEMDAS rules, and key properties of addition and multiplication. My Math Table was a hit at both the Kansas City Maker Faire (2019) and the Tulsa Maker Faire (2019), where it was displayed alongside my Periodic Table. The combination proved to be a winning formula, as many visitors showed appreciation for one or both projects.
