Laser Cut Mason Jar Carry Case
thingiverse
I enjoy canning at home, which means I end up with plenty of mason jars to transport around, whether that's to the office or as gifts filled with delicious treats. The lid comes off easily, while the carrying handle sticks out for secure transport. There's even some extra space inside each compartment that can be used to add cardboard inserts or napkins for extra protection. This project uses 1/4-inch plywood and requires only two 1x2 sheets to complete. It assumes a nominal thickness of about 0.20 inches. This is the second version of this design, with one more revision planned. The finger holes are a bit too long for 0.21-inch thickness. In my example, I removed the tabs using a chisel. While not necessary, it made sanding and applying urethane much simpler!
