Laser-cut Letter Opener (Dagger)
thingiverse
This handy letter opener is inspired by the Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife from World War II and can be used as a general purpose utility knife due to its ruggedness. It's an ideal choice for those who appreciate the aesthetic/ergonomics of this collectable war relic. To create this tool, use a 40 Watt+ carbon dioxide laser to cut it from thick acrylic and sharpen the blade with a Dremel. Lastly, wrap the handle with tape or any other material before testing its sharpness on a gourd or melon.
