A picture led to an intriguing laser-cut project, designed using Solidworks 2016 and rendered with Simlab Composer 8 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited in Virtualdub before being saved as AVI/X264 and BMP files. The video was remuxed to MP4 using MyMP4BoxGui, while Gifs were created in PhotoScape. IrfanView aided in rendering edits. This model is available in multiple formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 8, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, DWF and FBX, with the 3D-PDF and SIMLAB files being animated.
