I scale a flying carpet to 5 times human size, making it approximately 6 feet by 9 feet. I utilize beautiful artwork from DeviantArt user Sydonz's piece titled "Magic Carpet" (431543088). Next, I solid etch the art and use these files to cut out the carpet efficiently. You can set up this process in Visicut, and I also recommend a three-pass cut to minimize edge marking. The tolerances for this project are quite tight, so it's essential to adjust the material sizes according to your machine's specifications in Fusion 360. After measuring the thickness of your material, you should re-export with your measured kerf width using "DXF for Laser" (Autodesk App Store). The provided DXF files are already adjusted for a 0.013-inch kerf and sized for 3.25mm acrylic.
