Laser-cut fixture for milling polycarbonate
thingiverse
Create an acrylic fixture for holding 4" wide polycarbonate strips using a laser cutter. This fixture works well with Taig CNC mills and offers repeatable positioning, maintains material stiffness during cutting, and minimizes waste. Assemble the fixture with 10 M6 x 20 mm bolts, T-nuts, and an M6 hand tap on a Taig DSLS3000 mill. The version 2 design allows easy access to T-nut bolts through all four plates, facilitating mounting and dismounting without disassembling the fixture entirely.
