Laser cutter EPI face shield. One of the major issues people encounter when making face shields on a laser cutter is the substantial amount of material that ends up being wasted. In response to this challenge, I have created this innovative modular armature designed to cut more pieces per sheet. This modular design is compatible with 3mm (1/8 inches) acrylic or MDF. However, please note that using MDF can compromise its sanitization properties and therefore it's strongly advised to discard it after each use. I developed this solution with the intention of assisting individuals who own a laser cutter or a CNC machine in saving material and rapidly producing face shields for global COVID-19 protection needs. My hope is that this will make a significant contribution to addressing the pandemic.
