Laser cut Ethernet shield / Arduino enclosure
cults3d
An enclosure is designed to house the Arduino and Ethernet shield, fabricated through laser cutting of sheet acrylic. This provides access to key components including the USB port, DC jack, Ethernet port, SD card slot, reset button, and pin headers. The enclosure builds upon a standard Arduino design, found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5029. Modifications were made to scale it up and add additional cut-outs for ports. The reset button hole was also relocated to align with the corresponding button on the Ethernet shield. Dimensions for the case were taken from an Arduino Uno board and an Arduino Ethernet shield v5. This project was conceived at London Hack Space, a community-driven workshop located at london.hackspace.org.uk.
