Laser Cut Desktop Tensegrity Tables

Laser Cut Desktop Tensegrity Tables

Make your own desktop tensegrity tables using either fishing line or magnets as the tensile load bearer. They're both cut from 3mm MDF, but can be made from acrylic or plywood just as well. I've also included a pdf template if you don't have a laser cutter and would like to simply cut out the outline of the tables and posts by hand. You'll need some fishing line to complete the standard table and two neodymium magnets in addition to the fishing line to complete the magnetic one. Full step-by-step instructions to assemble them can be found here - https://www.the-diy-life.com/make-your-own-desktop-tensegrity-tables/ You can also watch a summary video of the build here - https://youtu.be/qnWqIysqed8
