Based on the Pass the SALT 2019 conference logo. I'm sharing it mainly for its design process so that others can create their own conference badges if they want to. The badges were made by Polytech'Lille's Fabricarium team. Compared to last year's badges, several changes were implemented: * A new logo * Poplar plywood instead of MDF was used * Two additional fields: affiliation/twitter/nickname and serial (to sort badges easily based on entrance ticket serials) * Raster etching was replaced by vector etching (faster) * Two holes for two-end lanyards were added (to prevent badges from turning over) * Tokens were directly attached to the badge (last year, people tended to lose their 3D-printed tokens) * An outer cut in green was made so that badges could be detached last (avoiding spurious moves during inner hole cutting) * An optional language flag was added (most attendees are French-speaking and we'd like them to have the courtesy of switching to English when non-French-speaking people are present) * Common template text was used, making it much easier to work with, eliminating the need for a manual step after tile cloning
