This casing modification is based on MakerBot's original acrylic enclosure for the Replicator 1 3D printer. It improves accessibility to the front lid and allows for easier detachment. Some parts are 3D printed for handles and panel fastening. This adaptation reduces noise during printing and maintains a stable internal temperature. Additionally, it enables better ventilation by connecting a rear fan to expel gases. Download DXF files for laser cutting acrylic sheets (3mm thickness), STL files for 3D printing, and use 16 mm M3 screws and nuts for assembly according to the provided illustration.
