Laser Cut and Engraved SD Card Storage Box Holds 5 SD Cards Looks Amazing https://youtu.be/uoN8YEIVxNo Assembling this box requires some acrylic adhesive (Weld-on #16). First, cut the main SD Card slot holder from 1/8" acrylic (card_slots.dxf). Next, cut the main case body from 1/4" acrylic (enclosure.dxf). Then, cut the Card Slot Holder bottom from 1/16" acrylic (card_bottom.dxf). After that, cut two covers from 1/16" acrylic (enclosure_covers.dxf). Before gluing, clean all parts with alcohol. First, glue the Card Slot Holder bottom to the Card Slot Holder. Ensure the edges are even. Now, glue one of the main covers to the main body, using the Card Slot Holder as a guide. Be careful not to accidentally glue it to the edges. Check the fit and finally glue the second main cover to the main body. Engraving (optional): Align the complete enclosure in the laser and engrave with text of your choice or included "engraving.dxf" file. Use the "cut" setting at low power and high speed to create a scratch-engraved design on acrylic without cutting through it completely. The grooves should be deep enough for paint to stick. Next, rub some white acrylic paint into the engraving, let it dry slightly, and wipe it off. Repeat this process until the engraving is fully filled with paint. Finally, wipe again with a slightly moistened cloth.
