Laser Crosshair mount
thingiverse
I have a CNC Router table with a dust shoe attached, which made it difficult to see the tip of the bit when setting up the start point for the cutting operation. I purchased a small laser crosshair module and designed a mount that was initially too tall, so I modified the STL file for a thinner base. The attachments include two files and an image showing both the original and revised mounts. I had intended to use a screw and nut to secure the mount around the laser tube but found it fitted snugly, eliminating the need for these additional components. Instead, I used a flat-bladed screwdriver to spread the mount when installing the laser tube. I bought the laser module from Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Focusable-650nm-Module-driver-Plastic/dp/B00S1EXW3Y/
