Laser Collimator for Telescope

Laser Collimator for Telescope

thingiverse

The 1.25-inch collimator helps align primary and secondary mirrors in Newtonian telescopes, using a pen-style laser pointer. To assemble, add six M2.5 nuts and screws, insert the laser with alignment screws, and place the collimator into the telescope for adjustment. A prototype tip includes taping the laser button on, tightening a rear cover to switch it off, and attaching the collimator using a "Self Centering Bush." Crosshair grooves are included for wire or thread addition. The sight hole shape has been modified for easier printing without support.
