Laser Clock Concept
thingiverse
This concept alarm clock design features a target that stops when hit by a laser pointer (1mW to 5mW) from a distance or after a minute elapses; it also boasts an LCD at the bottom for displaying time and date, along with side lighting in transparent tubes that illuminate upon alarm activation. Rear buttons allow you to set the time and alarm, including a traditional reset button if needed. However, note that the .wings file model is not printable yet. The clock requires an Arduino or clone for control, as well as external timekeeping for accuracy, an LCD screen for time/date display, a speaker for the alarm, and LEDs for side lighting. Additionally, the clear tubes could be filled with uranium-doped marbles to glow with a "radioactive" green when lit by violet or UV LEDs.
