Laser Beam Dump
thingiverse
A simple laser beam dump for laser enthusiasts. Tired of your lasers lighting up the entire room? What about overexposing your camera? Well, say goodbye to that :D Not sure how well this model will stand up to high-powered lasers, as I haven't tested it with one yet. Hopefully, it'll withstand it. However, if your laser starts burning through the cone on the inside of the dump, then I recommend printing the body at 100% infill to maximize how much use you can get out of it, since the cone will be thicker itself. In continuation to the last bit, if I encounter this problem myself, I have some Carbon Fiber Nylon on hand which I think will withstand the temperatures better. Not only will it deal with the temperature better, but it is also more matte than the PETG I used. I assume that you could also use ABS if you have it. But I only had black PETG. Based off of a YouTube video by Brainiac75 over on YouTube (https://youtu.be/rRIlhskMYAM), I was able to throw together this simple model! Enjoy, happy printing! :D
