Laser Adapter Compact Trifan
thingiverse
I was messaged by commputethis, a fellow Thingverse user and contributor, to see if I could fit an existing Laser adapter to the Compact Trifan Extruder housing that was designed to fit the stock metal extruder housing on the Ender3/Ender3Pro. Here is a link to the original design, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4835570. The original design was made to utilize the magnets on the laser housing to secure the adapter and laser to the stock metal extruder housing. Since the Compact Trifan housing is not metal and has different overall dimensions, a complete remix was required. I printed out the original design in order to get the general dimensions for the laser fitment, and then proceeded to redesign it to fit the standard version of the Compact Trifan housing. Dave (commputethis) was very helpful in providing feedback, since I did not have a laser device in my possession at the time. After a few iterations and tests, we were able to get everything to fit securely and work properly. I have uploaded two versions of the Laser Adapter. One is for the standard depth housing and the other is for the Noctua depth housing. Dave also provided the photos of the part with laser as well. Thanks for the help Dave.
