Las sillas de Mini / Mini's chairs
thingiverse
I built this model for my friend Mini, an exceptional artist who performed at La Carpa, a circus project from Varuma Teatro and the architectural firm Recetas Urbanas, where I was also a collaborator. This miniature replica was displayed at an exhibition held in Lugadero, Sevilla. More information about La Carpa can be found here: http://lacarpasevilla.wordpress.com/http://www.recetasurbanas.net/v3/index.php/es/component/joomd/proyectos/items/view/la-carpa Before creating the entire set, I first printed a single chair as a test. After that, I printed the entire set and figure together. Each chair is relatively small at 20 mm, but it's easy to print if your printer is well calibrated. For improved bridging performance, each chair has a tiny support piece that's simple to remove. I built this miniature model using my own self-made Prusa i3 3D printer with PLA plastic and a 0.5mm nozzle. I applied some finishing touches to the human figure with a Dremel drill and sandpaper, as it might be difficult to print successfully in one go. However, manually adding supports helped solve the problem. If you need this model without support, please don't hesitate to write to me and I'll upload the updated file for your convenience.
