This project is still in development, which means I might make changes to some models to get better fits and so on. If you print this project right away, you may end up having to reprint everything. What is this thing? ===================================== One of my hobbies is roleplaying, and for an event set in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe, I wanted to equip my character with an oxygen tank that would allow him to enter contaminated areas temporarily. The long story short is that real oxygen tanks are heavy and expensive. So I came up with a solution that solves two problems at once. Since local stores won't take back Sodastream cartridges without proof of purchase, I found two cartridges that fit my project perfectly. v 0.0.1: ---------- Right now, I've managed to come up with a solid construction that doesn't use the whole buildplate and can be printed with 30% infill while still being able to withstand rough handling (I've tested it extensively). The next step will be designing two different types of attachments that can be screwed onto the connectors, which will allow me to strap the top to my belt and the bottom one to my leg, making it easier to carry these cartridges around like a pistol holster. After that, all I have to do is come up with some pipes or tubes to connect the valves and provide an attachment point for my gas mask's "trunk". On further consideration, I'm not sure if I like the current design of the cap over the valves. We'll see where this goes. ### To-do list: - Design a vertical sling holder for the belt loop - Design a horizontal sling holder for the leg strap - Measure the gas mask connector diameter to design an attachment point for that - Design a connector between the cartridges' valves
