Large Tapered Print In Place Tentacles

I chose to create a larger version of my Tapered Print In Place Tentacles, opting not to simply scale up the smaller ones. These new tentacles feature more segments and the smallest part is slightly bigger than its predecessor's smallest piece. They fit perfectly when the bodies are scaled up by 200%. Using More Realistic Octopus by Stanos, they measure 300mm (12") from the tips of the tentacles to the top of the head. I've included two styles just like my previous smaller ones: Smooth and Suckers. I've also provided them in one long piece or two shorter sections for printing on 100mm machines. The PLA used to print the tentacles was a terrible roll that didn't print well at all and loved to curl. In contrast, the body is printed in a much nicer white PLA that prints flawlessly. Thankfully, this used up the last of the terrible filament. Print Settings: Printer: Tantillus Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.5 x 0.15 or less Infill: 15% Notes: The body must be scaled at least 200%. I recommend printing the body first and then one of the single segments to see if you like how it connects to the body. I find the original joints to be a bit tight, so I prefer if they dangled freely, which requires scaling down the tentacles by 1 or 2 %. Alternatively, scale the body from 202 to 204% before printing the single piece to test fit for looser joints at the body.
