Large Stirplate Box
thingiverse
Update: swapped files for v4, improved the holes, room for 5/16 socket, moved fan towards middle more, and changed parts list. Large format stir plate base designed for larger flasks. I use a 2L size so I needed a stable base for my yeast starters. I opted for a large format fan - an 80mm fan would work just fine, but I used what I had around. These holes are set for a 120mm fan. This is a removable top, the fan secured to the top. Holes in the rear for air flow for the fan, hole in the side for the power jack, and countersunk front for the pot. I've included a parts list for the entire project. A magnet holder is not included as any of the ones on Thingiverse will work, and you can use whatever magnets work for your application! Print in PLA or PETG, whichever is your preference. Holes and countersinks are specific to the screws I used, again what I had on hand. Screws: Drill-X 10x3/4 hex head self-drilling screws (https://www.homedepot.ca/product/paulin--10-x-3-4-inch-drill-x-hex-washer-head-self-drilling-tapping-screws-zinc-plated/1000117732) Fan: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00ZW15B6U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 10K Potentiometer: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07DHGV6LB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Panel mount DC power jack: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07Z3WM2S8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 12v DC power supply: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07WWW6DP1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
