Large Stackable Tilt-Out Storage Bin

Large Stackable Tilt-Out Storage Bin

UPDATE: I've printed some bins that don't quite interlock properly while others work great. Must be the PLA difference. I think I'll make a new version soon. This parts box is a bit large; which I think is a good thing. Print it at 0.3mm layer height for a print that completes both portions under 12 hours. Support for "build plate only" is needed for the bin portion since the overhanging handle is a long bridge. I could have inverted the handle to make it more printer friendly like in my old tilt-out box but I like this aesthetic and it's worth the support to me.The inside of the bin measures approx: 81mm x 61mm with a height varying from 57mm to 90mm.The outside footprint is approx: 100mm x 75mm with a height of about 100mmThe walls are generally 3mm thick. There are screw mounting holes in the back of the base. The bin tilts 62 degrees and lifts out.I decided not to go with a nameplate holder this time. Actually, I saw another take on the tilt-out box for sale at my local hardware store. It had curves. I used that for inspiration towards the design lines rather than the straight box look I did last time. I also took into consideration pltaylor3's remix idea of making the bin removable.I designed everything in SketchUp and exported the model as stl files.
