Large-size constructor for kids

This giant building block kit is perfect for young children. Due to its size, kids as young as three can easily tighten the screws by hand, making it a great introduction to construction play. It's still a work in progress. I print this kit mostly with high-quality PLA plus material. I set the layer thickness to 0.2mm for the screws and nuts, while using 0.25mm for the rest of the design. My nozzle width is set at 0.48mm, with two walls and three layers on top and bottom. The infill pattern is a 30% grid. To ensure accurate printing, I've tightened the tolerances to prevent any wobbling. Before you start assembling the kit, please print a test screw/nut and a small 2x1 plate to check that these sizes work for your printer. For comparison, the thread size is 12mm and the hole spacing is 35mm. You can expect to use around 2-3 kilograms of filament to create a reasonable starting set. When it comes to screws, you'll need to print them with support material. The most commonly used screws are 26mm and 31mm long, but I plan to add longer ones in the future.
