Large Silent Desk Clock

This is my largest and most impressive desk clock. The oversized gears extend to 12.4" (31.5cm) wide by 11.8" (30cm) tall. The solid dial is easy to read from across the room. The stepper motor driver is completely silent. A precision reference timer is used to maintain an accuracy of about a minute per year. The printed parts will fit on a Prusa Mini or any printer with a 180x180mm print area. Total print time is just over 50 hours using about 0.65kg of PLA.   A video of the clock in action is coming soon. The Silent Shield Clock Controller is a custom clock controller available at https://www.etsy.com/listing/1464560995   29-Apr-23 Update: Added clock hands called _1.stl that is a little bit tighter on the shaft and _2 that is even tighter. They are optional files that can be used if your clock hands are too loose. Two new files base_retainer_upper.stl and base_retainer_lower.stl are only needed to make the optional Silent Shield Clock Controller (available on Etsy) fit inside the base using the same holddown that the CNC Shield V4 uses.
