Large-Scale Ceramic Delta 3D Printer
thingiverse
Students at the RPI School of Architecture built a large-scale ceramic delta 3D printer based on Jonathan Keep's design. They added a sturdy structural frame to prevent racking, giving it extra stability. The printer is capable of extruding any workable paste like clay or spackle. The printer was part of the vertical studio led by Francis Bitonti and Xuedi Chen. It was developed by students Aaron Barker, John Ruggieri, and Christian Gartland as their own project. Jonathan Keep initially designed the 3D-printer model, making it available for free under a Creative Commons - Attribution - Non Commercial license on thingiverse.com (147055).
