I modified the design to be more substantial and robust. The screw holes were tapered so that a large wood screw can be used and tightened securely without damaging the hook. Screw hole centers are 80mm apart, with diameters of 4.5mm. This should provide sufficient support for holding a large extension cord or hose. I specifically designed this to hold the coiled extra cable for our Tesla wall charger.
