Large Pond Filter for Hose. (Push fit)

I modified and combined a couple of items I found to create an easier way to drain a clogged up pond using a standard hose that can be submerged to siphon the pond without getting blocked or sucking out the good stuff, like fish. This setup also works with an in-line pump to keep larger particles from entering the pump. The filter is sized to handle a fairly overgrown and messy pond and worked well with a 2m head of pressure siphoning a grubby pond without any issues. To use this filter, simply push fits (with added O-ring) onto existing Hozelock or Gardena systems. Then prime the system, submerge it, and away you go.
