Large Parametric Vase

Large Parametric Vase

myminifactory

A parametric vase designed by Gordon LaPlante, founder of gCreate, in 3DS Max showcases a process of creative problem-solving. We initiated the design with a basic star spline and then applied various modifiers such as extrude, twist, and taper to shape it perfectly. The model comes in two versions: one with twenty fins and another with forty fins. To witness how we designed this vase, watch our video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u17P6OTgLeo Customization Options: Select your preferred scale for a larger print, choose no infill for faster printing time, disable supports for smoother prints, and opt for high cooling settings. Additionally, you can adjust the number of walls to strengthen the model and omit top layers. Printing Details: The vase was printed on the gMax 1.5 XT+ 3D Printer. Although it was created in 3DS Max 2011, due to issues with inch/mm units, we scaled up the model by 2540%.
