A lightweight dodecahedron is created using triangular trusses. The featured model weighs 166 grams, crafted with long trusses at medium setting in MakerWare (0.27mm) and three shells on a Rep2 printer with Sailfish firmware. Assembling without support or raft, print 30 long trusses and 20 vertices; scaling the vertex to 105% may aid assembly. The short trusses might be difficult due to flexibility issues. Adjustments can be made using OpenSCAD scripts provided with the model.
