Large Latched Box

Large Latched Box

I present yet another precision-crafted box! This one excels because it prints consistently and is robust, making it an ideal storage solution. I deliberately chose not to use printed hinges so that the lid and body can be replaced individually if either one fails. Metal hinges, similar to the nails I use, significantly strengthen and enhance the joints, ensuring a successful 8-hour print even when a setting is off. I have found lever C to work best as a latch, but B may prove better for you if you prefer a looser fit. This box was specifically designed for storing electronic components. It's sized to accommodate a Mouser Electronics bag snugly, allowing you to store components in their original ESD packages. For loose components or anything else that's small, I've found 3x4" plastic bags (readily available on Amazon) to work well for organization. **Print Settings** * **Printer Brand**: LulzBot * **Printer Model**: TAZ 6 * **Rafts**: No * **Supports**: Yes * **Resolution**: 250 Microns * **Infill Percentage**: 20%
