This tool is specifically designed for preparing 25 evenly spaced wells while working with a large gel electrophoresis setup. Ideally, using multiples of eight plus one results in well-aligned 96-well plates with an additional lane set aside for the ladder. Having four combs, each sporting 25 precision teeth, enables the simultaneous running of a 96-well plate and ladder configurations per row on just one gel surface. In addition to this model, I've created a variant suitable for a different purpose: the comb consists of seventeen closely-spaced wells (this design can be viewed under my separate listing). Images depict the prints generated from a single Ultimaker 3 filament print without any need for plate adhesion, ensuring minimal complications with removing material between teeth for adherent surfaces.
