Large Garage Hook
thingiverse
I attached a new extension cord hook, reinforcing it to lie flat and eliminating the need for supports during printing, while also enlarging the hook at its end. To hang a 16" craftsman corded chainsaw horizontally, I employed two extension cord hooks, but soon discovered that a better hook was required to prevent the chainsaw from falling. If you have about 16" between studs in your garage, consider printing two of these items. This design can be adapted for use with various other objects. For optimal results, print the item flat. My calculations indicate that this modified design requires approximately 10 more grams of filament compared to the original version by Paul6833. I achieve strong structure through a 40% infill gyroid pattern when printing.
