The new spool holders on the i3 mk2 are woefully inadequate, failing to provide sufficient support for certain spools. Fortunately, these custom-made holders are an impressive 180mm in length, making them suitable for accommodating a wide range of spool sizes.\r\n\r\nI have personally used them to securely hold a substantial spool of black PLA filament that is roughly double the size of standard spools.
