This is a substantial egg with print-in-place flower petal hinged sides that open with ease. A secure screw nut holds the top firmly in place. The design makes it perfect for gifts, Easter celebrations, or as a prop for Harry Potter enthusiasts who want to hold their own golden egg. The egg measures approximately 215 mm tall and 140mm wide. I deliberately left plenty of clearance around the moving parts to make scaling down easier. Note: After printing my version, I made some adjustments to the hinge design. To help you fine-tune your settings, I've included a full-width hinge test file for your reference. Since I didn't need another large egg, I chose not to reprint it from scratch.
