Easter Egg/Egg designed with two distinct components that have a threaded joint to join together seamlessly, taking into account standard scale. Upon completion, just remove the raft and support ring from around the male thread and assemble the Easter Egg together easily. Note: Due to difficulties encountered by some slicing applications in dealing with fine detailed support structures, an optional "no support" top part has been included. To create colourful bands pause your print several times, then switch to desired filament colours, ending up with a vibrantly coloured Easter Egg. The colourful Easter Egg shown utilizes Translucent Orange / Natural PLA / Translucent Blue. The designed support ring includes some clearance to allow it to break away effortlessly when required. This feature has been successfully tested for 3D printing on both the Replicator 2 and the fifth generation Replicator. Assuming optimal setup, it should be easy to screw together with minimal resistance due to binding thread. Repeating the screwing process several times may resolve any initial binding. Print with: Raft / 0.20mm (Std. Resolution) / 3 - 4 Shells / 50% Infill for robust walls without requiring any internal support, referring to images to identify where support ring needs removal to expose male thread. Additional note: Files can be either combined or separated as top and lower/upper components, providing the option to add different colouring.
