Large Drill Bits Stand
thingiverse
Yet another drill bit stand finally takes shape. Larger drill bits necessitated a stand for easier access, making it simpler to organize my collection of 13mm reduced shank drill bits. To round out the set, I've added a few extra drill bits that fit perfectly into the stand. This clever design combines all the drill bits into one convenient location. The chunky build allows the stand to handle long bits and the weight introduced by multiple drill bits. See the Xtorque XT8RED 13mm Drill Bits Set for details on the main drill bits incorporated into this innovative stand: https://sydneytools.com.au/product/xtorque-xt8red-8-piece-metric-hss-reduced-shank-drill-set To enhance the print's visual appeal, I swap filament colours near the end of the process, making the raised text more visible. This colour change is easily set up in your slicer software, such as PrusaSlicer or other popular options. After printing, a small amount of fine-tuning will be required to ensure precise hole diameters for a snug fit. Simply use the drill bits to carefully adjust the hole size until you achieve the desired level of fit. Keep in mind that over time, drill bit stands can experience slight loosening of the holes.
