Here's a handy little something I came up with to keep our dice organized and within easy reach on the table when we need them during our role-playing sessions. My buddies and I play Pathfinder Card game, and this works like a charm since we have four of each type of die available for our rolls. I used larger craft sticks (maybe tongue depressors?) from Dollar Tree, measuring them with a digital caliper to get the perfect fit. I made the slots 0.5mm larger than the craft sticks so they would slide in smoothly. Printing two copies of the file on each side worked like a charm. I printed with a 3mm raft and 20% infill for added durability. To assemble it, I simply taped together 12 or 13 large craft sticks, marked them at 3.5 inches in the middle, and used a miter saw to make sure they were all exactly the same width (feel free to adjust the width to suit your needs). The easiest way to put everything together was by pushing each stick all the way through the slots on one sidepiece about 0.25 inches or so, then lining up the second sidepiece and pushing the sticks back in until they were flush on both sides. This helped me align each individual stick as I went along. It was a snug fit, but totally manageable. This is my very first original design, and if you print it out, I hope you enjoy using it just as much as we do! I'm already thinking about creating a smaller version using regular-sized popsicle or craft sticks so I can store my hundreds of Dice Masters dice in style. Somewhat related: I also came up with a pop-up dice tower that collapses easily for flat storage.
